Pavel Gocev is a Principal Key Expert at Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG, specializing in Industry 4.0, Digital Twins, advanced modeling, and simulation technologies. With more than 25 years of experience in Digital Twin development based on Discrete Event Simulation (DES) models, he has played a leading role in numerous national and European R&D projects, contributing to both research and industrial innovation.

A scientific researcher affiliated with the Technical University of Berlin and a Senior Research Fellow at Fraunhofer IPK, Pavel is also an accomplished author, conference contributor, and factory planning expert. He is the architect and owner of the Factory Digital Twin Simulation (FDTS) framework and has extensive expertise in developing formal, shareable domain specifications and ontologies that support intelligent manufacturing and advanced computing solutions.
