Roland is from origin a cityplanner, with a fascination for data and digital.

The last 15 years he worked on the concept of the digital city, in which both areas come together.

As manager of the digital city program he learned to understand better how the reality of citizens and cities as a whole are changed by the continuous impact of the digital transformation on their daily lives. In his current role he is exploring the Citiverse concept for even a better understanding of this impact and how to deal with it, so we can enhance the resiliency of our city and citizens.
